How It Works

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I specify which pages to extract?

Choose Ranges, then enter 1-4 for pages one to four or 2, 5, 9 for three separate PDFs. To combine non-adjacent pages into one file, use Selected pages instead.

Can I split a password-protected PDF?

The tool needs an unlocked PDF. Open or export a copy with the proper password and permission first.

Will splitting degrade the resolution of scanned pages?

Page content is copied rather than turned into a new image, so the tool does not intentionally lower scan resolution. Check the downloaded PDF for missing links, forms or signatures.
