How It Works
- Select or drag & drop .heic or .heif photos from your iPhone or Mac (batch conversion supported).
- Choose output format (JPG or PNG) and image quality. On your first visit, the WebAssembly decoder loads in seconds.
- Download converted JPG photos individually or grab all of them in a single ZIP file.
About HEIC to JPG Converter
HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is Apple's default photo format for iPhone and iPad. While it cuts file sizes in half compared to JPG, many websites, Windows PCs, and Android devices cannot view or upload HEIC files.
Our converter runs entirely in your web browser powered by libheif WebAssembly technology. Your personal photos never touch a remote server, ensuring total data privacy.
To make your iPhone shoot JPG photos directly in the future: go to Settings → Camera → Formats and select 'Most Compatible'.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are my photos uploaded to any server?
No. Conversion runs 100% locally in your web browser. Your private pictures never leave your device.
Can I convert multiple HEIC files at once?
Yes. You can convert up to 50 HEIC photos per batch and download the results together in a ZIP. Each file can be up to 100 MB; large batches also depend on available device memory.
Does it support iPhone Live Photos and Burst shots?
The converter extracts and saves the primary photo frame in high resolution. The embedded video clip is not converted.
Is EXIF metadata preserved?
Metadata is stripped during the conversion process to optimize file size and safeguard your personal location and camera details.
