How It Works

  1. Open a PDF. Navigate with arrows or the page number; Read opens a selectable text view.
  2. Choose existing text, new text, highlight, underline, strikeout, drawing or image from Edit. Use Page to rotate, move or delete pages.
  3. Save your PDF. Replacing existing text uploads the file for server processing and uses the daily server quota. Other edits stay in the browser.

About Online PDF Editor

Click a selectable text fragment to replace it. The original is removed on saving and replaced using Roboto. Long replacements may need shortening; complex or angled text may not be supported.

Scanned pages need OCR before existing text can be edited. Reading mode uses the current text layer and does not recognize images.

Whiteout only covers original content; do not use it for confidential redaction. A drawn signature is a visual annotation, not a verifiable digital signature. Editing signed PDFs can invalidate their digital signatures.

Files are uploaded only for existing-text replacement and are scheduled for cleanup after two hours from completion. Page management and annotations remain local. Other PDF tools open separately from the menu; save first.
